Cathy Stephenson was a prosecutor for 25 years with the San Diego County District Attorney’s Office. She prosecuted child abuse, child homicide, domestic violence, and sexual assault cases beginning in 1986. She also taught criminal law at the USD Paralegal program until her move to Texas in 2021.
Cathy is the former Chief of the Family Protection, Central Pretrial, and Appellate and Training Divisions for the San Diego District Attorney’s Office. She retired from the District Attorney's office in June 2008 and, when she’s not at her cottage in the north woods of Michigan she loves spending time with her family here in North Texas.
